Thank you for scheduling your online hypnosis session! To ensure the best experience, please follow these simple steps to prepare:
Choose a Comfortable and Quiet Space
Find a quiet, private room where you won’t be disturbed. Make sure it’s comfortable, with a supportive chair where you can sit upright and feel relaxed throughout the session.
Set Up Your Device
Use a laptop, desktop, or tablet with a stable internet connection.
Position your device so that your face and hands are visible on camera. A table or desk in front of you can help support your arms and keep them in view. You might also find placing a pillow on your lap helpful for resting your arms and keeping them comfortable and visible.
Check that your camera is level with your eyes and hands, ensuring I can see both clearly during the session.
Test your internet connection – this site is great for this: https://www.speedtest.net/.
Ensure Good Lighting
Ensure the room is well-lit, but avoid harsh lighting that could cause glare or shadows on your face or hands. Do not sit in front of a window with light streaming in, as this can cause backlighting, making it hard for me to see you. Natural light or soft lighting from in front of you works best.
Test Your Audio and Video
Before the session starts, test your microphone and camera to ensure they’re working properly. This will help us connect smoothly and allow for clear communication.
Minimize Distractions
Silence your phone and other devices to prevent interruptions. Let others in your household know that you need privacy for the session.
If possible, ask others in your home to avoid streaming videos, playing online games, or using other bandwidth-heavy internet activities during your session to ensure a stable connection.
Relax and Be Ready
Arrive a few minutes early, take a few deep breaths, and prepare to immerse yourself fully in the experience. Having your hands in view will help me guide you more effectively during the session.
I’m looking forward to working with you! If you have any questions, you are welcome to call.
